People Nurturing People prepares mentors to help individuals participating to see work from the employer's perspective and the consequences or changes that mentors bring to the workforce within the community.  Corporate sponsors can invite participants and mentors to shadow an employee during  a days work.

People Nurturing People is seeking ordinary people who care about others. Experts are needed, but you do not need to be one to get involved.  Sharing your life is sufficient. If you can shop, maintain a job, parent children or manage a budget then you would make a great mentor.

People Nurturing People will provide you with supportive experts. As a mentor, you will receive training and have access to resources needed to have a successful mentoring relationship.  In addition People Nurturing will provide you with ongoing support of mentoring consultants. 

Skill Based Mentoring involves teaching life skills.

• Expose a parent to possible job choices

• Parenting skills

• Providing a listening ear 

• Develop a budget

• Sharing a Recipe

• Home organization

• Building personal confidence
  

• Encouraging a family to pursue a GED, or college courses.
