FAQ

You maybe considering becoming a Mentor (as a group) or maybe as an individual, yet you still have a few more questions. After viewing the information below please contact us with any additional concerns and we will address them accordingly.  We look forward to working with you to infect positive generational change in the lives of families. 
How much time committment am I expected to fulfill?

Mentoring groups are encouraged to meet with their  family one hour each week.

How often am I expected to meet with my mentee?

You are expected to meet with your family once a week.

What takes place during a mentoring session?
Initially Mentors will spend time getting to know one another, by which activities will be provided by the Mentoring director. Be creative as a mentor,  you are encouraged to use any approved resources. We will provide you with guided conversation builders and weekly assessments.  A trusting relationship must be established and requires intentionality and patience.
Where will I meet my mentee?

You will meet your Mentee in their home or an approved facility. 

What is expected of me regarding accountability?

Each week you are expected to electronically submit a report of your nurturing session with your family to your mentoring consultant. 

What's in it for me?

The fulfullment of knowing that you made a difference in the life of another family and are participating in a valuable community service with positive generational change.

What type of training is given?

In order to become a mentor you will have to obtain a background check and complete our  Mentoring Certification Training.  In addition we will provide a qualterly Mentoring Encouragment Training in which you will receive fresh ideas and tools to keep you motivated and excited about your mentoring relationship.

Do I need to be an expert?

PNP is an organization made up of ordinary people who care about the well being others. All you need is  a heart to serve and a desire to make a impressionable difference in the life of others.
